Atotal Theatre is a cinematic installation, which takes place in a dark room, there are no seats allowing viewers to move between screens and changing slide projections. Sequences of discolored photographs, slightly greened, fade in and out, revealing textures of animals, plants, landscapes, and plastic dinosaurs. The work plays upon our absorption in dreams, memories, and virtual realities proposing illusive challenges that question direct physical engagement.
Exhibited at : The Fish Factory, Falmouth 2012 & Newlyn Gallery, Penzance 2012
Untitled (below) is an extract of an hour long silent video installation, that developed alongside the Atotal Theatre installation. As the camera hovers and shifts in and out of focus, a sci-fi dream reveals a search for some kind of tangible nature.
